I love Tulips

I love tulips!!! They just make me happy! I planted a lot of bulbs in the fall and it has been so fun to see the results!!!! In the fall Cody excavated around our house and I had to replant my tulips, I had a bleeding heart flower that my Mom gave me from my Grandma Earl's house, I love it and because of the excavating I thought we lost it but somehow it made it and surprised me by coming up happy and ready. It has been funny to see tulips come up in random spots on the side of the house due to our excavating excitement.

Soccer ended for Talon and Shad this week. What a great season we enjoyed! Madison is doing 8th grade soccer, she is so-ooo tough...soccer is not for wimps! Shad has started t-ball, he is the best little lefty out there! Love it! Love sports!!!! Oh and I forgot to mention I love early morning walks, watching the sunrise and the calmness I feel minutes before the troops wake up!!!

Today is my brother Reggie's B-day! He is the leader of our family, he is the best!!! Because of the loss of Tate and my Dad, we have become closer, he is wise, tender hearted, loving, level headed, super Dad and husband! I love him and his family! Happy B-Day Reg!

Spring Break and Easter

We had a great visit in Canada with Daves Parents and family. Not many people head north for Spring Break but we do, and we had plenty of snow and cold weather to greet us. Dave's Parents are in good health which is a blessing! We went to Calgary, the kids had a great time going to a awesome indoor pool, Sadie was terrified which was a shock to us all. Hudson and Madison with Rhys and Dad's went and did Laser Gun stuff, then the girls shopped and the guys went to an Imax movie. It was a great trip. Shad got hives right before we went and then I got a horrible infection in my thumb (from a manicure) it was a constant nagging pain!!! Life in a mini van with 7 people can get interesting!!!! We took maybe five pictures of the trip before battery problems again!
