Great Great Great Weekend

We had an awesome, powerful weekend as my good good good friend Heather and her family were sealed to their two youngest daughters Katie and London. They are now an Eternal Family of 7. When we moved to Selah over 10 years ago they had no children and I have celebrated and prayed and cried right along with them as they one by one have adopted their 5 children, each child comes with its own story. Katie and London are biological sisters and they were so darling at the sealing, Katie knew exactly what was going on and folded her arms and was bright eyed and so reverant and in tune, the temple sealer was amazing, he said "this is tender and perhaps we shouldn't say anything and just watch" The power that was felt is indescribable yet at the same time a very very familar heightend feeling. My whole day felt powerful, I went home to a big "to do list" and a husband who was gone the rest of the day and I was able to do everything with ease. The power that we feel changes us as President Hinckley said "every time we walk out of the temple we are better" I am so grateful to Heather she is a strength to me, she bails me out of everything, I love her like a sister.
p.s. it was super windy and cold...

Sadie Girl 9 months and counting

I had a rude awakening the other day when I was asked how old Sadie was. I said 8 months only to be told by Dave that she is 9 months rrrrrrr I lost a month and didn't know it, of course we are loving her and enjoying her she is in the "tornado" stage...messes messes messes. Just last week she had two tragedies a fall down our stairs (ouch) and two electrical shocks(ouch ouch). On a happier note, she loves to beat her head to music, go on stroller rides and nap with me. When I put her in her car seat, she has a bow in her hair and socks and shoes on, by the time we get to our destination she has no bow and no shoes or socks on, funny thing is that Madison did this too. She is loved!

Rachel Esplin on faith and religion at Harvard

Faith, religon and online, I read about this gal on Mormon times and looked her up. I think she did a great job talking about our church. To think she had a sound bit to answer these questions. All day I have thought esp about the question that was asked "What is your relationship with Christ" How would you answer?

Birthday Wishes

Well yesterday was Opie's Birthday (go big 24)we had such a great chat about the bumps of life, today would be Tate's 30th. Of course I love them both! To celebrate we went on a walk to the Greenway, the kids had the day off from school. Sadie was so happy just swinging her legs and babbling, It was so refreshing and enjoyable! I took the camera only to have dead batteries! (my life story) It is so interesting how the sting of death is still so apparant. This weekend Andrea went to the cemetary and scraped the ice off Tate's head stone, she sent me this picture off her cell phone, I love how my Grandma made some crafty thing that says We love Tate. Boy do we ever!
