Well, I love to look at blogs and learn something at the same time. Months ago I helped with a preparedness fair and our committee found a recipe for CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP,using your powder milk and other food storage items. I was excited to give it a try. I use this in replace of the can of cream of mushroom, much cheaper and my kids haven't noticed (what they don't know wont kill them : )
This needs to be stored in an air tight container and I 4 X the recipe.
CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP
2 c powder milk
3/4 c corn starch
1/4 cup chicken bouillon
1-2 TB dry onions
1-2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 can of soup= 1/3 cup dry mix add 1 cup of water.
(my suggestion is a little less than 1 cup of water ( it can seem a little runny) and this is a little less than a can of soup but close.

thanks, this will be wonderful. I don't love milk from powdered milk, so this is a good use before the powdered milk expires!
